Katana-ya is an excellent Ramen shop in Union Square. It's not much to look at - a tiny hole-in-the-wall you'd easily miss if you weren't specifically looking for it. On my first visit, I was conspicuously the only non-Japanese in the entire joint, so I knew that must be a good sign.
