Place to see: Charles Bridge, Praha, Czech Republic

St Christopher

St Christopher

Christopher has always been a widely popular saint, being especially revered by mariners, ferrymen, and travelers. However, in 1969 he was decannonized following an investigation in the validity of his faith.

About this place:

The Charles Bridge is one of the most popular sights in Prague. It connects the Old Town to the Malá Strana and is prone to extreme tourist traffic jams. The bridge itself is old, Gothic . . . . and lined with disturbing statues, what more could you want?
