Place to see: Buza Bar, Dubrovnik, Croatia

Buza Bar

Buza Bar

The bar clings to the exposed cliffs on the exterior side of the city walls: a stark contrast to the tight and narrow streets on the other side. The QE2 can be see in the distance.

About this place:

Through a hole in the city walls of old Dubrovnik, the Buza Bar is the perfect spot to enjoy a beer while watching the sunset. It's perched on several levels of a cliff overlooking the clear waters of the Adriatic. As unpretentious as a popular bar can be, the Buza even has a ladder into the water for easy swimming access.

Excellent little place. Not well represented on the map.

The best afternoon I spent on my trip to Dubrovnik was relaxing at the Buza Bar - drinking a few beers, jumping into the ocean a few times, and then watching the sunset. If you are trying to find the Buza Bar, look for a sign that says "Cold Drinks" to point you in the right direction.
