Allen Fieldhouse is the basketball stadium of the University of Kansas Jayhawks and widely considered one of the best places to watch college sports. Kansas's past coaches include the inventor of basketball, James Naismith, and current UNC coach Roy Williams. What makes games here special is that every single game sells out, and in fact, people camp out for tickets every game. The historic stadium vibrates with energy and enthusiasm, while every seat is occupied but empty—the custom is to stand for the entire game. Countless other customs, such as throwing torn pieces of newspaper like confetti and "waving the wheat," contribute to an incredibly intimidating atmosphere for an away team, as well as an impressive ratio of wins of Jayhawk home games.
