Slovak National Theatre, look from the new building
The new building of the Slovak National Theatre was designed by architects Martin Kusý, Pavol Paňák and Peter Bauer. Its construction begun in 1986, but due to lack of funds it was finished only in 2007. The theatre was opened for public on 14 April 2007. It has three sections, which can hold up to 1700 spectators at a time. The theatre should be a part of the "new centre" of Bratislava along the Danube river.
