A potter demonstrating her craft at Luostarinmäki Handicrafts Museum in Turku, Finland.
The Luostarinmäki Handicrafts Museum in Turku, Finland is an outdoor museum made up of houses, workshops and buildings which survived a large fire in 1827 that destroyed the rest of Turku. The buildings have been preserved and nowadays show visitors what life in Turku was like in the 18th and 19th centuries.
During the summer months, craftsmen and women show off their skills in demonstrations of weaving, pottery, spinning and other crafts that were a part of life in days gone by.
