About this place:

Every October, Keene, New Hampshire, hosts a Pumpkin Festival that trumps all others. People come great distances with carved pumpkins, totaling this year to a smaller than usual 25,644. That's over four-thousand shy of their record and five-thousand below the world record: a title stolen from Keene last year by Boston's one-time imitation celebration. Tens of thousands of people descend annually on the small town to see the gourds and eat local autumnal foods.
