The Oklahoma State Capitol located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Oklahoma is celebrating its 100th anniversary of statehood -- November 16, 2007. The building was begun in 1914, and was designed by architectural firm of Layton, Wemyss and Smith. The dome was left off because of a shortage of funds, but was recently finished in 2002.
