  Believe the hype: In-N-Out Burger really is a superior fast-food experience. It may not be the best burger you've ever had in your life, but it may well be the best chain restaurant burger you'll ever have. Definitely worth checking out if you're in California, and if you're on a California roadtrip, a stop at In-N-Out is practically a rite of passage. To act like a local, study up on the selections from the "secret menu".

  In-n-Out: A California staple! While, indeed, there are only 5 things on the menu (Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Double-Double, Fries, and Shakes/Drinks)...quality more than makes up for quantity! Here's a TIP! to ordering like a local: Order your burger "Animal-Style" for the addition of sweet, grilled onions and finely-chopped pickles in 1000 Island dressing. You can also order your french fries "Animal-Style"; drenched in melted cheese, grilled onions and 1000 Island dressing. Mmmmmmm!
