Former warehouses and old manufacturing facilities were converted to offices, stores, restaurants, and places to host live events. The new Durham Bulls ballpark was built adjacent to this location and the entire urban revitalization project is now a tourist attraction. Other old urban buildings are currently being converted into condominiums.
