Multnomah Falls
Multnomah Falls is the largest of the several waterfalls that are collected throughout the Columbia River Gorge. It is also the most visited, for good reason.

Very dramatic place in surreal setting, but only minutes from downtown Portland, Multnomah Falls has dozens of looks during the course of a day. The steep valley walls and high latitude allow for shadows and weather to change the way the place looks by the hour.The Falls are 620 feet high, the highest in the U.S. except for Yosemite Falls.
