The west bottoms is an older industrial part of downtown Kansas City, MO. It is obviously "west" of downtown and at a lower elevation. Many old brick buildings occupy most of this area, but, there is one obtruse metal structure among the brick and mortar.. Kemper Arena, home of the AFL's Kansas City Brigade and the American Royal.
