About this place:
Located between Lake George and Hartsel, Colorado on Highway 24 west of Colorado Springs are two premium fishing lakes. The lakes team with Lake Trout, browns, rainbow, kokanee salmon, and northern pike. Spinney Mountain can be very crowded at opening day in late May. Boats are allowed on both lakes but there is a state fee required to get into the parks. Camping is available for tents, campers, and motor homes.
