This stray, one-eyed black cat was hanging out on the seats in front of the Rector's Palace (Knezev Dvor). I was amazed by the details in architecture that were so well incorporated into the design.
Just south of Luza Square is the Rector's Palace. It was the seat of the Ragusan (previous name for Dubrovnik) government. For 15kn, you get a self-guided tour of the palace and the rather lackluster City Museum. The building is of great historical significance and architectural interest. The palace's Renaissance atrium is a beautiful space in which concert recitals are held in the summer time.
Exhibits in the museum rotate throughout the year.
