This old port used to be one of the main source of income for the city, as whale fishing was conducted from this place. Building colors are typically basque style.
Guethary is a nice small town in the extreme southwest of France on the atlantic coast. Less crowded than its neighbouring cities Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz, its sand-rocky coastline has a particular charm of its own and some remarkable pieces of basque architecture.
