A tourist spot that's an acquired taste. If your idea of fun is paying $20 (more if you need to rent a geologist's hammer) to go into a huge open mica pit and hammer away in the hot summer sun in the hopes of finding some interesting minerals....then this is it!

As I see it this place can appeal to two types of visitors...rock geeks and photographers who need to fill their portfolio with bizarre scenery.
