At a reception and tour hosted by the LA Deco Society in 2003, Lloyd Wright, Frank Lloyd Wright's Grandson (center) talked about the house, it's importance in the FLW history and how the usual difficult relationship with the client led to final designs not intended by FLW.
Frank Lloyd Wright's Mayan-style masterpiece in the Los Feliz Hills. One of the first residences ever to be built using concrete blocks Wright set the bar pretty high for other architects. The house has been featured on film a number of times such as Bladerunner as Deckard's apartment, and in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
The house is not open for tours as it was badly damaged after the 1994 Northridge earthquake, but it is currently being restored and can be seen from outside quite well.
