The annual Smithsonian Kite Festival on the Mall is my favorite event of Washington's 3-week National Cherry Blossom Festival. Here, kites fly over the National Museum of Natural History during the blossoms' peak bloom period.

About this place:

The Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC should be on every museum lovers must see list. Lots of information throughout one can easily spend a full day learning all sorts of things from ancient cultures, long lost animals, and precious jewels.
