About this place:
Mt. Evans Wilderness is located between Bergen Park and Idaho Springs, Colorado. It is one of two fourteen thousand foot mountains which you can drive to the top in summer. The other being Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs. At one time there was a restaurant at the top of the peak but that burned down a number of years ago.
