The best place to view downtown Providence, RI is Prospect Terrace Park on the East Side of Providence. Many beautiful images of Providence are made from this location. On any given day, dozens of pro, amateur, and student (RISD is close by) photographers and painters set up at this location. The statue of Roger Williams, founder of the Rhode Island colony, looks down at his city with his hands outstreached, thankful for the blessings he received from his Creator.
