About this place:
Part of the New York City Water System, Ashokan Reservoir is framed by the majestic Catskill Mountains and close to Woodstock, NY. New York City has some of the cleanest, best tasting city water in the entire country, thanks to the system of reservoirs that until very recently required no filtration before reaching the faucets of "the City".
