Place to see: Animal Flower Cave, Chance Hall, Barbados

About this place:

In the northernmost part of Barbados, there is a cave that is named after the 'animal flower' sea anemones that can be found in the cave's pools of water. The cave opens on the other side to a cliff overlooking the waves crashing ashore. With each strong wave, some water flows in, making some of the cave's pools swimmable, but potentially dangerous.

The cave was made famous being featured in some of Billy Ocean's music videos. Tours daily, unless the cave is flooded by strong waves. Apparently sharks and/or whales can be spotted in winter months.

Be sure to wear grippy sandals, as it can be a bit slippery.
