Safed, City of Kabalah
The allies of old Safed at noon time are almost empty aside from two Chabad Jews who hurry to their study center. Chabad (or Habad) is the 3rd or 4th largest Hasidic section of orthodox Judaism.
About this place:
Safed (Hebrew: צְפַת, pronounced Tzfat; Arabic: صفد, pronounced Safad) is called the capital of the Galilee, built in the Northern District of Israel. Safed is one of Judaism's Four Holy Cities, along with Jerusalem, Tiberias and Hebron, and a center for Kabbalah, or Jewish mysticism.
My last visit to the old quarter with my wife was to sense and smell the ancient holy stones, see it's people and enjoy its mysteries.
