The Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump Interpretive Centre, gently set into its surroundings by architect Robert LeBlond, carries the viewer up through the history of the site, of the First Peoples who have lived there for millennia, and of local buffalo hunt practices.
Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, located where Canada's Rocky Mountains meet the Alberta plains, is the oldest and largest buffalo jump site in the world, used by the Blackfoot First Nations people for thousands of years. Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
