About this place:

Saad Abad palace complex was first the summer residence of Qajar kings, and then turned into Reza Shah's summer residence. By the time of the iranian revolution, in 1979, the complex hosted 18 villa, palaces or mansions, each in a different architectural style and technique.

After the revolution, the whole complex was turned into a park and several museums were created in the buildings. Nowadays, the complex hosts 10 museums :
- Green palace
- Nation's palace
- Nations's museum
- Fine arts museum
- Behzad museum
- Abkar museum
- Mir Emad museum
- Museum of anthropology
- Water museum
- Military museum

The park surrounding the palaces is a wonderful place for relaxation.
