One of the few foreign-owned bars in Wenzhou, La Luna is run by Jorge Saldana, a Mexican-American and graduate of the Portland Culinary Institute. Although it has the appearance of a hole-in-the-wall, the La Luna is one of the most happening places in Wenzhou. This is due in part to the charismatic, down-home friendliness of Jorge and his fiancé Jessie. These two really make you feel at home in a strange land, and allow for the local Chinese who come to the bar to experience an American-style pub, with an eclectic range of music from around the world.

The other reason for La Luna's success is the food. Excellent hamburgers, cheese steak sandwiches, quesadillas, homemade French fries, and even the occasional American-style BBQ at very reasonable prices make the La Luna Bar and Grill a haven for the food-weary traveler in Wenzhou.
