Located on the southwestern coast of Turkey with a ferry link to Rhodes, Greece, Marmaris is a frequent port of call for the US Navy. Beach, belly dancers, ancient Greek ruins, kilims, and Lycean tombs carved from stone entertain (and lighten wallets) of crews on shore leave.
