The Gasthaus Heiligenbrunnen is a hidden gem in the southern Black Forest not too far from the towns of Hinterzarten and Titisee.

It is located perfectly as a goal or starting point for a hike through the landscape.

The food is excellent with good sized portions for a very fair price. Local specialties can be found on the menu, varying with the seasons (in the winter months for example there is deer or boar on the menu). The salad can be selected at a buffet.
