Flying is when I embrace my lifelong Insomnia. The best shots--for me--are sunrise (not sunset)...when everyone else is asleep or just barely waking. Especially nowadays, with nervous fellow travelers & flight crews...best to do the bulk of your shooting when no one's really watching. Case & point: Flying home to L.A. from Beirut, our first leg was from Beirut to Paris. The sunrise I shot that flight (seen here) was unforgettable...and the cabin was quiet & still. Felt like I was the only one witnessing such a beautiful sight. Well, hopefully me AND the Captain.
