Hoi An is a quaint litte village situated on the banks of the Thu Bon River. You can find beautiful architecture, ornate temples, markets, vibrant artwork and some of the cheapest tailors in Asia.
Hoi An is located in central Vietnam on the Thu Bon river and close to the famous beaches of Danang. It escaped most of the destruction of war and retains lots of historic charm. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and there are many old houses, meeting halls, and temples to visit. It is easily explored on foot and there are plenty of hotel choices and fabulous dining options. They are famous for their custom tailors, art galleries and hand made lanterns.
