Looking across the rural chinatown of Locke.
The last rural chinatown in california, Locke was founded in 1915 after a fire broke out in the nearby town of walnut grove. It is a fully functioning town but almost completely unchanged since 1920. There are a number of restaurants and bars and a couple of art galleries and a small museum. The drive from the bay area is a great sunday afternoon trip.
