It was a beautiful February day when we stopped by Isleton Joe's. The motorcyclists were out in force and this was the place they came to eat.
Isleton Joe's is located in the small Sacramento Delta town of Isleton. (Isleton is known for crawdads and has a crawdad festival in June.)
The restaurant was charming, clean and busy. The service was good and the food tasty. We had crawdad sandwiches with onion rings off the lunch menu. The crawdads were fried, sweet and good. The onion rings were perfectly beer-batter fried and not the least bit greasy. Isleton Joe's also offers platters of crawdads, and other seafood and sandwiches. It offers a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. The prices are reasonable.
