I took this one from the window out of our flat on Royal Hill in Greenwich. On a clear day you could see the London Eye at night and if you had a zoom you could see Big Ben and Parliament.

About this place:

Greenwich is a short trip from Central London and allows you to take a break from the city and take in some few hundreds of years of history as well.

You can get to Greenwich by train from Waterloo or London Bridge and the DLR. There are many renowned pubs here (Plume of Feathers, Trafalgar Tavern and the Greenwich Union just to name a few), visit the Prime Meridian at the Old Greenwich Observatory at the top of Greenwich Park. In the park is the Queen's House and the National Maritime Museum. Across the street is the Old Royal Naval College (with a backdrop of Canary Wharf's skyscrapers) which will also put you next to the Cutty Sark and the Greenwich Foot Tunnel.
