About this place:

This is a bridge over the Rio Grande River at Congress Street @ East 1st Street. Between March and April this bridge is home to 750,000 to 1.5 million bats. At dusk each night they swarm out from under the bridge to head out in search of insects. They consume 10,000 to 30,000 insects each night.

Bring a chair and sit behind one of the hotels on the grass by the bridge. Wear a hat.
