About this place:

On the North Shore of Oahu, at the end of Farrington Hwy, past Mokuleia and across from the Dillingham airfield, lays an uncrowded stretch of beach. The perfect place to experience Hawaii. No crowds, plenty of parking and plenty of sea turtles. What more could a person wish for?

    On a sunny day in July we arrived in Honolulu. After renting our car, we headed toward the north shore. With time to spare before our check-in, we began exploring and happened upon the beach at Mokuleia. We parked our car and tossed off our shoes and headed for the water, only to be greeted by 10 or so sea turtles. This quiet beach, at the end of the road (literally) became "our" place for the remainder of our trip.
