When I was working in Paris, I used to go to le Louvre palace very often in order to spend some time reading in the Tuileries garden (my flat was approximately 10 minutes walk, so I couldn't pass this simple pleasure). I don't know whether or not the Grande Roue is there all year long, but during the summer and at dawn, you cannot miss it!
