Description
Situated on a small island linked to downtown Miami and Miami Beach via a causeway, the Standard is an über-hip, contemporary hotel resurrected inside the shell of an older, 1950s-style motor lodge. The Standard's pool is the centerpiece, and it's a quiet oasis that feels far removed from the bustle of South Beach. Tip: You'll probably want to rent a car if you stay at the Standard, as it's a long walk (but a short drive) to Miami or Miami Beach.
