When we first arrived in Miami, we stayed at the Carlton Hotel, at South Beach. We'd booked it in advance but since we also wanted to go to Key West we couldn’t get other rooms in the same hotel on the dates we wanted on our way back, so we booked 2 nights on the Beach Place Hotel, at North Beach not knowing exactly what to wait... It happened to be quite a OK place and really economical, about 65 bucks a night!
