The Circus Drive-In on Route 35 in Wall, New Jersey is an authentic car-service drive-in that serves up all the expected fare for such an eatery. However, they are also known for their crabcake sandwiches as it is located "down the shore." These tasty sandwiches were recently featured on the Food Network.
Description
Located in Wall Township, New Jersey, on Route 35 (near Belmar), this drive-in restaurant is open from March through September. Established in 1954, this spot features car-hop service and was recently seen on the Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" for their crabcake sandwiches. Other items include fresh hamburgers, foot-long char-broiled hot dogs, chicken, ribeye steak, sliced steak, ribs, milkshakes, egg cremes, root beer floats... The list goes on! While you can find some items on the menu for those trying to lose a few pounds, my recommendation is to leave your diet at home.
