Monolitt in Monocrome

The Monolitt is an eye-stopper. It is the crown of a park containing 212 sculptures, this massive 17 meters high stone-monolit stands as a contribute to life and the human in every part of life.

About this place:

The Monolitt is the crown of the Vigeland Sculpture Park (Frognerparken) which contains 212 sculptures. The Monolit with it's 17 meters stands maybe as a symbol of the human struggle for the devine?

From a photographers point of view the park is a free-models-how-stand-in-posision-forever paradise! Here you have over two hundret bronze statues in every posision, you have as many stone statues you would like and you have the monolit.

The solide stone were the work of three workers and 14 years, between 1929 - 1943, but the vision was Gustav Vigeland's alone.
