Driving along Highway One (I think not too far from Bodega Bay), we stopped to admire the coastline. It was wicked windy.

About this place:

Everybody who comes to San Francisco and has gone to Carmel has driven Highway 1, and has noted how beautiful the drive is. hogwash, I say! The real Highway 1 drive is up North, from Jenner to Mendocino.

    There is a great stretch of the road just north of Jenner, where the road zig-zags just right, so that you are driving like a cartoon character. You turn left, and just as you get the wheel turned all the way to the left you have to turn right, and just as you get the wheel all the way to the right back you go to the left, and so on for about 10 zags. It's really fun to drive!
