My last morning in Paris was grey. The sun was taking its sweet time arising from its slumber, and the air was heavy with mist. I rode the escalators up to the observation deck of the Eiffel Tower. I had less than two hours to get to the airport, but I was determined to relish this moment, as others have before me, enthralled with the view of Paris' streets, avenues, buildings, and monuments, sprawled for me to see, as the Seine slowly slithers its way through the landscape, and its people begin to wake and resume their daily lives. They've said it before: Paris, Je T'aime.
