El hombre de fuego (Man of Fire, 1936-39), is one of the murals by the famous mexican artist Jose Clemente Orozoco.
About this place:
The Hospicio Cabañas is a former hospital complex, one of the largest in Latin America. It is now a cultural center, and a world heritage site.
The complex was founded in 1791 by the Bishop of Guadalajara in order to combine the functions of a workhouse, hospital, orphanage, and almshouse.
The design of the building is based on classic examples as Les Invalides in Paris and El Escorial near Madrid. The buildings form a rectangle measuring 164 m by 145 m.
You can see a series of monumental frescoes by José Clemente Orozco.
