Opening Day '07 @ Great American Ball Park
Great American Ballpark is home to the National League's Cincinnati Reds Franchise. It opened in 2003, replacing Cinergy Field, formerly known as Riverfront Stadium. The ballpark sits between Paul Brown Stadium, home to the Cincinnati Bengals, and US Bank Arena. It was located at 100 Main Street, which has been replaced by 100 Joe Nuxhall Way in honor of the late Reds' pitcher and broadcaster.
The ballpark is named after the company Great American Insurance Group, which owns its naming rights.
Great American Ballpark is set to hold the Major League Baseball Civil Rights Game in 2009 and 2010.
The stadium itself features the Pepsi Power Stacks, multiple murals and statues, and the third-largest scoreboard in Major League Baseball, where they have recently installed an LED screen.
