You Are Not Forgotten

The memorial stupa at the most famous of the Cambodian killing fields is full of the skulls of the victims.

About this place:

Under Pol Pot's regime in Cambodia in the late 1970's, thousands of men, women, and children were brutally executed and buried in mass graves at sites known as "killing fields". The most famous of these is Choeung Ek, about 17 km south of Phnom Penh. Now, the site has a memorial stupa, a tower that is filled with the skulls of the victims. It serves as a powerful reminder of a terrible time in Cambodia's history.
