While I was living in New York City, my boyfriend and I took a day trip to Atlantic City since neither of us had ever been. Buses run frequently from various points in Manhattan.
Upon arriving, I was reminded of Las Vegas (on a much smaller scale) with a bit of Coney Island thrown in. We spent the day walking the boardwalk, sipping on pina coladas and of course taking photos. I'm not much for gambling but it was fun walking around the lavish hotel casinos and we saw this hilarious cover band to end the night. The bus ride back to Manhattan at 2 am makes for a good time to take a nap.
