I tried to get on the tram but after a few gusts of wind while we were waiting I walked away happily. I instead watched my friends cross the gorge thinking they were going to die at any minute. I told them though, I'll walk across the bridge and meet them on the other side. That was until I got to the bridge and realized it was wooden, and there are cracks in between the boards that you can look down and see through. I kid you not. I tried to cross three times. I would walk 15 feet, more like crawl.. but then i would see a car coming across and i would immediately turn around and briskly get back off the bridge. I met a woman while contemplating life in a corner, who had been there 37 times and still hadn't been able to cross the bridge. One day I will.. Just not today, or tomorrow.
