In the "Rocky Shores" exhibit, you'll find an aquarium with lots of exciting animals. Within the exhibit you'll find a beluga whale!
About this place:
Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium is located near downtown Tacoma. Though not the biggest zoo you'll ever visit, they still have lots of animals and a lot of variety. The smaller size of the zoo really lets you get up close and personal with the animals.
The zoo offers many shows and feedings throughout the day. Also, sometimes some of the animals get taken for walks through the park so you might see something strolling around!
It's a great place to take kids and see both land and sea animals in one place.
