Surviving 15+ years (an eternity in small business years!), Tokyo Kitchen stands head and shoulders above the countless Sushi & Teppan Grill digs in So. Cal's Inland Empire.

Been eating here with The Fam. since they opened/my entire life, and have NEVER been disappointed...not a one of us. Large portions, creative menu with constant new specials/additions (for the regulars), full bar, skilled chefs/artists and boatloads of ambiance add up to one enjoyable dining experience after another. :)

A little independent place, T.K. will get the inevitable comparisons to The Big B (Benihana's), but in my fam.'s eyes...there is no contest. Half or less the cost of a meal at Benihana's, T.K. also offers better variety and flavor. We love T.K.'s pink "shrimp sauce" (for dipping). We ask for doubles. All of us. And then we pour it over our fried rice. Trust us.

Also give ANY of the sushi specials a try--I'm a faithful Albacore girl. Talk with the chef(s)...they're awesome and will even whip you up something off-menu...they love a challenge. I love the Teppan Sesame Chicken and Shrimp or Scallops. The Huz orders the Fillet or NY Steak...excellent as well. Get a bottle of Kizakura sake to wash it all down.

Special Occasion?? Awesome. Origami hats, tambourines, a Japanese Sing-Song, an intricately-carved Pineapple Boat and Polaroids are all in the cards, my friend. Oh, yes. :)
