Elliott Bay comprises the harbor of the City of Seattle, Washington. It is part of the broader body of water known as Puget Sound. The Bay is one of the most popular scuba diving sites in the Pacific Northwest as it is generally free of strong currents and is teeming with wildlife, including various species of salmon, harbor seals, octopi and occasional pods of orca whales.

The Port of Seattle, one of the busiest container ports in the United States, is located on Elliott Bay as is one of the State of Washington's most busy ferry terminals. It is through this bay that fresh water from Seattle's only river, the Duwamish, enters Puget Sound.
